Keith Kolasinski
Keith began training as a competative fencer in 1987 in order to keep in shape and add sword fighting to his skills as an actor. After spending time in the Military Keith returned home and discovered Theatrical Combat and Renaissance Festivals and converted his fencing skills to something more appealing on the stage. Keith has trained and performed with a number of organizations and instructors including The Theatrical Combat Network in Ann Arbor, Michigan, The Ring of Steel in Ann Arbor, Michigan and The Knights of Iron in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Keith also attends workshops and classes with the Society of American Fight Directors . Keith has been involved in the fights and stunts in a wide variety of styles including Modern Drama, Shakespeare, Science Fiction Conventions, Haunted Houses and Corporate events. He has created fights for Professional, University, High School and Community Productions and is currently the Fight Director for the Michigan Rennaissance Festival in Holly, Michigan.
Keith is also an accomplished theatrical technician, designing sets, lighting and sound for productions as varied as Oliver!, Hello Dolly, Polaroid Stories, Lady M, The Jewelry Store, Story Theatre, Godspel, and many other shows in his more than 25 years in the theatre.
